Gerard Nieblas Retiring as President of Brandow & Johnston

Gerard Nieblas

After 38 years at Brandow & Johnston, I will be stepping down as President of the company and am retiring.  I have always loved being a Structural Engineer and loved working at B&J.  I started out as a Design Engineer in 1979 at our Newport Beach office.  In 1999, I became a Managing Principal of that office and, in 2009, was asked by Gregg Brandow to transfer to our Los Angeles office.  I assisted in managing the LA office until Gregg Brandow retired in 2010, I then became President of Brandow & Johnston. It has been an extremely rewarding career and I have been privileged to work with many outstanding and wonderful engineers. For this, I will always be grateful.

Effective July 31st, I will retire from full-time employment and available part-time as needed until January 5th, 2018.  On August 1, 2017, our Senior Vice President, Jim Pearson, will be named President of Brandow & Johnston.
