Los Angeles, CA – December 20, 2007 -The year 2007 brought significant changes to Brandow & Johnston. We added new services, two new principals, and moved to a new location.
Early in the year, we expanded our capabilities to include civil engineering through the strategic acquisition of AC Martin Partners’ civil and structural engineering practice. Under the leadership of new principal, John Alajov, P.E., Brandow & Johnston now offers full range of civil engineering consulting and services, including urban infill, land development, public improvements, and infrastructure engineering. Some of the projects we provided services for include City National Bank Plaza with Thomas Properties Group, several large projects at University of Southern California, and public improvements related to the LA Live project with AEG.Mark Johnson, S.E., also a new principal, joined the leadership team at Brandow & Johnston this year. Mark brings twenty years experience providing structural engineering design for significant commercial and institutional projects. At AC Martin Partners, Mark led the engineering design for the LAPD Hollenbeck Police Station and Fifth Appellate District Courthouse in Fresno, California.
Finally in July, we relocated our expanding Los Angeles office to the CitiGroup Center in the heart of downtown. For over 60 years, Brandow & Johnston has been a key player in designing significant structures in the city including many high-rises on the Los Angeles skyline. With our new presence in the business district, we are poised to be part of the continued revitalization of the city.
We are committed to providing our clients structural and civil engineering services that not only meet, but surpass expectations. We are proud of our legacy and excited about the future.
