Project consists of new openings in concrete and brick walls, in-fill of existing openings and removing and replacement of structural walls throughout the building. Revisions also include revising the shape of the 2nd floor balcony from square to circular. As a part of the renovation on the basement level, portions of the slab on grade were removed and reconfigured to allow for a series of ramps for accessibility. An open air enclosure with concrete retaining walls was added at the exterior of the building to allow for a lift to service the basement level for housekeeping. Renovations to the plaza area include adding planters, a water feature and skylights to the basement level below.
